like I always say..better late than never..
Thursday, May 22, 2008

previously, our heroes from Ride from the Heart were on a race towards the Golden Arches, aiming to reach there for the beloved breakfasts...

however, our resident foodies/clowns/whatever you want to call them were now slightly crocked. with banged up knees..so our race towards the Arches..slightly degenerated to a..slow crawl of sorts..

but of course, with our mantra of leaving no man behind, we HAD to slow down for them..and consequently miss the breakfast. of course Tim Tay was none too happy, considering he had to hold back on his ahem, attacking instincts.

as we..raced (crawled) on, going on and on on the relentless roads..literally over the hill was when we saw the gates to our salvation on a hot, hot day. Suddenly I saw 2 blurred figures (guess who?) racing past me screeching.."HERE I COOOOOMEEE!"

they could have out-sprinted anybody at that point I think.

there're alot more details after that, like how Leong punctured for a SECOND TIME and did not have tools, resulting in us having to change his tubes for him, and using our mouths to blow up his tube (you know I'm jesting and I still love you). and how he had to use his MTB on a malaysian expressway.

and how we were stuck in various life-threatening situations while attempting to cross the Causeway. and how Tim attacked AGAIN at Mandai on the way home.

but they're just details. we just had heckuva lotta fun. as we always do. or at least we try to when we're sweating it up the hill.

but we've got more interesting stories from Desaru..which will come up over the weekend..(I hope.)

stay tuned for details of that..and our roadshow coming soooooon!
